FLC Presents on Juror Bias and Trial Technology at the 2020 CLI Conference
March 2020 – Focus Litigation Consulting senior trial consultant, Dr. Geri Satin Fischman, participated in a panel presentation at the 14th Annual Construction Law Institute (CLI), an event sponsored by The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section.
In this CLI presentation, Dr. Geri Satin Fischman discussed the nature of new jury selection software, its reliability in the courtroom, and Dr. Satin Fischman’s personal experiences using the software during jury selection in state and federal courts both within and outside of Florida. Dr. Satin Fischman explained how to properly use the software, pitfalls to avoid, and how to best combine the software-based information with other pre-trial and trial information garnered in a case. The presentation was structured as a moderated Q-and-A, followed by questions from CLI attendees.
The purpose of the CLI is to gather leading, experienced and established construction law practitioners, contractors and other industry professionals for a two-day seminar focused on in-depth, cutting edge construction issues.
